Pantone Color of the Year 2021

Pantone, a company best known for its Pantone Matching System (PMS), created a language of colors used by a variety of industries including graphic design, fashion design, product design, printing, and manufacturing. Since 2000, Pantone has chosen a color (or two) each year that they deem fitting for the current times. How do they decide which color should represent the prediction of the next 365 days?
